"El Real Monasterio de El Escorial" in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial was pretty cool. This is a picture of where the dead bodies of previous kings are kept!!! ewwww. But It was amazing to descend the marble stairs to go down there. There are tombs with queens in this room too, and I believe one queen's tomb that mistakenly has a king? Or something like that that went wrong...haha. I went to the gift store while I was here and bought a cool poster showing the knight's armor from different time periods- gothic, medieval, etc.
